Sr Research Scientist, Flow Cytometry - Contract - Wilmington, DE
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Senior Research Scientist to join the research team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidates primary focus will be on operating and maintaining flow cytometry instruments, supporting the development of pre-clinical flow cytometry panels, and conducting experiments to evaluate new targets. This role is crucial in advancing our discovery pipeline and requires a strong commitment to laboratory work.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and data analysis software.
- Background in cancer or myeloid disease biology is advantageous.
- Proficiency in scientific software such as Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, and FCS Express.
- Ability to work onsite in a laboratory setting.
The Sr Research Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Operate and maintain flow cytometry instruments, including cell sorters.
- Assist in developing complex in vitro/in vivo flow cytometry panels.
- Conduct flow cytometry experiments, analyze data, and compile results.
- Perform 2D cell cultures and cellular growth assays.
- Work independently in the lab with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to safety practices and maintain accurate records.
