Staff Scientist, Protein Biochemistry - Contract - Wilmington, DE
Proclinical is seeking an Antibody Discovery Specialist to join a dedicated team focusing on early-phase screening of antibody candidates.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position will focus on protein quality control, maintaining mammalian cell lines, and preparing antibody stocks using high-throughput systems. The successful candidate will also manage the registration of these stocks in our compound management system. This position requires meticulous record-keeping and collaboration across various discovery projects.
Skills & Requirements:
- Background in protein biochemistry and cell biology.
- Experience with analytical lab equipment such as HPLC, cIEF, and CE-SDS.
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and cell line propagation.
- Familiarity with automation lab equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
The Staff Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Conduct routine protein quality control tasks.
- Utilize high-throughput liquid handling systems for antibody stock preparation.
- Manage and maintain the antibody compound registry.
- Support antibody discovery campaigns by maintaining necessary cell cultures.
