ProColor Collision is looking for an Auto Body Technician!
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible to complete repairs properly and efficiently in order to have the vehicle ready for delivery on the promised due out date. Read the R/O and understand what is required. You will restores damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance. The Collision Repair Technician will effectively collaborate with the estimator, repair planner and paint department to achieve efficient vehicle flow.
A day in the Life of an Auto Body Technician at ProColor Collision
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components as per manufacturer’s specifications.
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, in order to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims.
Our ideal candidate is someone:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a Body Shop Technician preferred Possess a valid drivers' license
- Ability to work well under pressure.
