Procom is searching for an experienced Workday HCM and Payroll Application Manager on behalf of our client. This critical leadership role will oversee Workday's HCM and Payroll applications, supporting the company's mission, vision, and values.
Job Summary
As the Workday HCM and Payroll Applications Manager, you will manage a team of analysts and report writers while serving as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM and Payroll. Your responsibilities include the design and configuration of various Workday modules, including recruiting, core HCM, compensation, benefits, absence, journeys, help, and payroll. You'll report directly to the Director of Workday Applications and collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the system.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Expertise : Serve as the primary architect and subject matter expert for Workday HCM and Payroll applications.
- Collaboration : Work closely with HR, Supply Chain, Finance, and Technical teams to gather requirements and design impactful solutions.
- Configuration & Testing : Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday updates to enhance system functionality and meet business needs.
- Data Management : Ensure data integrity, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Training : Provide input for and support the delivery of training programs to maximize user adoption and proficiency.
- Vendor Relations : Manage vendor relationships, coordinate with external consultants, and keep current with Workday updates.
- Team Management : Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative environment, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Change Control : Ensure compliance with change control processes in partnership with other Workday application leads.
