Procon Consulting is a fast-growing professional services firm based in McLean, VA, and specializing in construction management (CM), construction-related technology, space planning, and facilities management. We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team in West Point, NY. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BA/BS) and a strong background working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or the Department of Defense (DoD). This role will involve overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and collaborating with government agencies to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
\n- Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects related to infrastructure, site development, and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with USACE and DoD engineering standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, evaluations, and reporting for project development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, architects, and government officials.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support on structural, geotechnical, and environmental aspects of projects.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably with USACE or DoD projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local engineering regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
- Experience in contract administration, construction management, and project coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain security clearance, if necessary.
