The Procopio Companies (TPC) is a multifamily developer founded in 1950, and based in Middleton, Massachusetts. Our residential projects are in and around southern New England. TPC is a vertically integrated firm, with development, construction management and asset management in-house.
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent that aligns with the organization's goals and culture. This role involves partnering with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience while adhering to best practices and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, business objectives, and team dynamics.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to source and attract qualified candidates.
- Sourcing Candidates:
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future openings.
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
- Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams, providing necessary preparation materials.
- Candidate Experience:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure timely communication and provide feedback to candidates.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Employer Branding:
- Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and networking functions.
- Promote the organization’s values and culture to prospective candidates.
- Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing and hiring strategies.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment progress and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on corporate or in-house recruitment.
- Experience with ADP or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and CRM systems.
- Understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices.
