Pepto Bismol Products Research - Associate Scientist
Personal Health Care (PHC) is an exciting and fast paced business that makes up a significant component of P&G’s growth and our Digestive Wellness business is growth driver of PHC. Within the Digestive Wellness portfolio, Pepto Bismol is a key strategic brand with an ever-growing pipeline of product and commercial innovation. This assignment offers the opportunity to be an integral products research team member leading franchise base business as well as wholistic design of initiatives for the growing Pepto Bismol business. Unlocking key consumer insights and translating into product and commercial innovation requires creative and experimental thinking and is a collaborative effort with R&D, A&I and brand team.
Qualifications
The ability to lead product research efforts for current business and near term initiatives for the Pepto Bismol brand is primary responsibility. The role entails partnering closely with both commercial and extended technical resources for wholistic design of new innovation, including landscaping category of existing products, owning claims and copy process and executing consumer research for new initiatives with excellence.
Leadership: Ability to utilize personal skills and technical background to work with teams to identify insights that could influence product design. Ability to work Independently to generate learning plans, develop key learnings, and enroll team members to incorporate into product and commercial innovation or action plans. A passionate advocate of the consumer with a business-driven mentality.
Strong Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with broad based team members to come to positive solutions to key issues. Ability to effectively manage interactions with team members to prioritize, gain alignment, and meet project team needs.
Agility: The business is on a fast pace and the innovation plans can be dynamic. As the landscape changes so do the plans for sustaining the business. The ability to change plans to meet the business needs requires agility and the mental balance to switch gears when needed.
Products Research : The desire to learn about consumer research techniques, including both qualitative and quantitative methods, to gain insights that can guide product/package design.
