NA Grooming Care– SIEL leads the Site’s Initiative Execution Process ensuring launch on time and customer fill rate at target for initiatives/new product launches. S/He is the Site Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to the Business Units Initiative portfolio working with the Initiative Leader, Technical Readiness Leader and works closely with the Planning Service Center to coordinate execution of the initiatives at the site – specifically with the Global Innovation Supply Network Operations (SNO), Initiative Operations Leader, Production Planning, Supply Planning and Material planning teams.
Responsibilities and Scope of Role
- Respond to Feasibility and Cost Requests (FCR) sent to the site coordinating inputs about capital, construction schedule, etc.- from site multifunctional team.
- Lead the multi-functional Initiative Delivery Team on site comprising of Quality Assurance, Material and Packaging Development, Purchases, and Planning teams to ensure the successful execution (start-up planning, qualification, and launch) of all initiatives.
- Deliver Initiatives at the site, right the first time per the approved Firm FCR or Project Base Plan.
- Continuously improve the Site Initiative Management systems and tracking tools.
- Own facilitating the integration of the product conversion plans with the site plans to meet the Initiative Launch Schedule including developing Site owned remnant disposal plan and execution.
- Owns transition of initiative from start-up operations to going operations teams in co-ordination with Initiative team.
- Lead the development and own the tracking of the Critical Path Schedule (CPS) for the Site Execution of an Initiative.
- Responsible for processes to ensure the site System Readiness is completed (master data setups/ costing/code etc.)
- Ensure site operating parameters for the SKUs have been finalized (e.g., MOQ, changeover times, Change over matrix sequence, Site QA standards, weights/dimensions, site tracking systems etc.). Additionally, ensure site operating strategy parameter updates have been provided to the planning team per the aligned to initiative execution strategy and timing for the site.
- Responsible for confirming actual production start-up of the New SKUs.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Engineering, or other related degree and/or relevant experience.
- 3-5 years experience on Project management or Innovation/Planning preferably in Manufacturing based operations or Logistics Operations. Experience in managing Critical Path Schedule (CPS), change management, risk management)
- Effective in leading issues resolution and barrier elimination.
- Strong communication skills
