Proctor Academy, an independent boarding-day school, grades 9-PG, located in Andover, NH, seeks a full-time, year-round team member to provide administrative support to both the Human Resources and Finance Departments, handling tasks related to employee data management, payroll processing, financial record keeping, and ensuring compliance with company policies across both areas.
The HR & Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting HR with all aspects of employee recruitment and onboarding; maintaining employee records and personnel files; preparing payroll data and ensuring accurate payroll processing; assisting with expense report management; maintaining financial records and spreadsheets; maintaining data integrity and accuracy across systems; ensuring adherence to HR and finance regulations; working with the Chief Resource Officer (CRO) on organizing and administering schedule and providing assistance with regard to communication on needs of operations quadrant to other areas at the direction of CRO.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent, one to two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records; excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks; basic understanding of accounting principles and strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees across departments.
