Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Case Manager to join our team as part of our new Pathways to Restoration Children’s Program. This is a pivotal new role designed to manage a caseload of children within the program, ensuring their unique needs are met through individualized support and care.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in child case management, align with our Statement of Faith, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role as the program expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children enrolled in the Pathways to Restoration Children’s Program, creating and implementing individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate children’s needs, progress, and well-being.
- Coordinate with families, staff, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support and resources for children.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Advocate for the children’s best interests, addressing educational, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide regular updates to program leadership and participate in team meetings to contribute to the program’s development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in child case management or a related field.
- Strong alignment with the mission and Statement of Faith of Prodigal Daughters Journey Home.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A clean background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
- Familiarity with community resources and child welfare systems.
