A well-established agriculture industry supplier is searching for a CFO preferably with manufacturing experience to join their team. The CFO will serve as a key strategic advisor to ownership tasked with oversight and direction of the financial activities of the corporation. This role should be one of guidance and trust to align financial strategies with organizational goals, driving operational efficiencies while balancing global sourcing and capital investment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance, a growth mindset, and the ability to navigate a dynamic and evolving global landscape.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist with high-level decisions about company fiscal policy and strategy.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to ownership on financial matters, merger and acquisition opportunities, risk management and global expansion possibilities.
- Identify and analyze opportunities for future revenue growth.
- Conduct regular financial reporting including tracking of cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses while proposing corrective actions.
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and governmental agency reports.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support data-driven decision-making and business growth.
- Manage accounting, finance, and purchasing teams, leading by example and creating an environment that promotes teamwork and communication.
- Oversee accounting, tax, treasury and compliance functions to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize capital structure, cash flow, and working capital to support growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related field required.
- 10 years of senior financial leadership.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale financial transformations, including systems implementation and process reengineering.
- MBA, Master’s degree or CPA is a bonus. Skills & Competencies.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global finance, accounting standards, and corporate governance.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Experience working inside a family-owned business is preferred.

Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
