What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Production Support Services?
SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is under the general direction of the Customer Service Supervisor. He or she must ensure customers are satisfied in all aspects, including but not limited to order entry and answering questions. The Customer Service Representative must perform tasks with little or no supervision, though he or she consistently informs the Customer Service Supervisor of day’s events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Customer Service Representative essential duties include, but are in no way limited to:
- Produce invoicing from previous day shipments
- Inform customers of shipments via fax or email
- Take orders and handle all documents connected to the order
- Handle customer concerns/redirect phone calls
- Prepare documents for weekly backlog meeting
- Daily Accounts Receivable Deposit
- Process Freight invoices for payment

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS; The Customer Service Representative will also be proficient in the following tasks:
- Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by a manager.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work overtime as needed
