Job Summary
To inspect, analyze, and evaluate components, sub-assemblies and finished goods with appropriate tools and equipment according to provided and officially released technical specifications, and to record inspection results.
Primary Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Help to ensure that our customers receive conforming products
- Operate and align quality inspection tools and equipment for mechanical, optical and other required inspections
- Record inspection results electronically or in writing according to recording instructions for others to be able to read and access the records
- Quarantine rejected parts & inform relevant internal parties about rejection
- Contribute to resolution for quarantined parts and to prevent same defects
- Seek for continuous process improvement in the quality department Help maintain a safe work environment
Required Knowledge and Abilities
- Able to perform inspections without emotional or other bias
- Excellent hand-eye co-ordination and manual dexterity
- Able to bend and lift weight of up to 23 kg (50lbs)
- Able to walk between departments and buildings frequently
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time (with neck bent forward)
- Able to work under microscope for long periods of time
- Able and willing to work in a medical class clean room
- Able to focus on details and to perform tasks that require accuracy
- Operation of desktop computer & peripherals, strong problem-solving skills
- Well organized, able to multi-task, and able to work within time constraints
- Authentic, loyal, and reliable personality with good interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills, fluency in English
- Self-motivated team player, respect company-defined work and break times
NOTE: Pay will increase to $17.00/hr after 30 days -- dependent on performance
90 day-120 day -- possible increase to $18.00-18.50 depending on performance
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
