Engineering Specialist
Ogden, UT- Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Ogden, UT (or remote or other Oshkosh sites). As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be part of our engineering staff augmentation to assist in reviewing BOMs and assigning ECCN classification to parts. The contractors will be supervised by Jetway engineering staff in their daily work.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Review engineering BOMs, specifically to identify EEE parts (Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical).
- Assign appropriate ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) codes to those parts.
- Ensure export compliance for international shipments under EAR regulations.
- Input data into Syteline ERP.
- Add Quality Code 10 to identified EEE parts.
- Work within Teamcenter PLM for document control and part tracking.
- For cable harness assemblies, add manufacturer name and part number to BOM for quoting and procurement purposes.
- Light Engineering Support.
- Use Siemens NX (mainly) and AutoCAD (occasionally) to make minor design updates or alterations.
- Interpret and possibly revise electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX, AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Experience with ECCN parts classification (export control).
- Experience adequate to make minor alterations to designs.
- Preference for on site in Ogden, UT, but able to consider virtual or based at other Oshkosh offices.
