Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Waco, TX - Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Waco, TX. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be in a role instrumental in supporting the manufacturing of our chassis products, focusing on solving technical challenges and driving continuous improvement on the production floor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for manufacturing excellence.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Support and improve chassis manufacturing processes through technical troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to implement process improvements and enhance product quality.
- Set up, operate, and maintain torque tools and other manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in the development and refinement of MIG welding processes and general assembly techniques.
- Conduct time studies, process validations, and documentation updates as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Working knowledge of chassis manufacturing processes and torque tools.
- Familiarity with MIG welding techniques and general mechanical assembly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
