Safety Specialist
Seeking : A diligent and knowledgeable Safety Specialist to join the Plymouth, MN location of Productivity, Inc . (machine tool sales and service industry). This individual must have experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with significant knowledge of electrical safety / Lock Out, fall protection, proper lifting / chain & slings, etc. This position will conduct training for our Field Service Technicians and work with our third-party safety sites like Avetta, Browz and ISNetworld.
This role includes occasional travel to our sites in Colorado, Utah, Iowa, and Nebraska.Travel is approximately once a month.
Responsibilities
- Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining safety programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular field safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Develop and deliver employee safety training programs - Lock Out, Fall Safety, etc.
- Manage and maintain safety equipment, including AEDs, Arc Flash kits, fall protection gear, and lockout kits
- Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures
- Assist with maintaining third-party safety sites, i.e., Avetta, Browz, ISNetworld
- Oversee and ensure compliance with DOT program requirements

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
