Technical Writer

ProEnclosures is a leading manufacturer in the material handling industry, dedicated to creating innovative solutions that enhance forklift safety and operator comfort. Our product range includes cab enclosures, roofs, windshields, and a variety of accessories designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Technical Writer to join our team and play a vital role in documenting and communicating the technical aspects of our products to ensure our customers have the best experience possible.

Please note this position will work (4) 10 hour shifts per week (Monday-Thursday).

Job Duties

• Collaborate closely with our engineering team to assist in documenting installation processes for our cab enclosures and other products.
• Develop comprehensive documentation adhering to organizational standards.
• Research, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with subject matter experts to ensure specialized topics are accurately addressed.
• Create and maintain documentation templates for customer-facing materials, including user manuals, installation instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Analyze information to develop or update policy, procedure, and form documentation.
• Craft user-friendly content that caters to the needs of the target audience, conveying information clearly and logically.
• Review and edit content produced by team members.
• Implement effective systems for internal communication of key performance indicators (KPIs), open orders, and other critical information.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on copywriting and general communications.
