What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at ProFed Federal Credit Union?
POSITION SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for supporting and executing marketing campaigns that promote ProFed products, services, and community involvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, visual communications, business, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in marketing platforms and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Expression Engine, Canva, Google Analytics, and social media management software. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams. Requires a passion for community engagement and service. Familiarity with credit union services and the financial industry and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Clear and effective communication skills required. Must be able to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard. Ability to travel is required for external errands and appointments. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods. Position may require light to moderate lifting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels
- Create and manage content for website, social media platforms, email campaigns, blogs, and member communications
- Support lead-generation strategies through digital advertising and social media marketing
- Help organize and promote ProFed-sponsored events, community initiatives, and sponsorship activities
- Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems to support targeted outreach efforts
- Stay current with credit union industry trends, member behaviors, and local community needs
- Additional duties as assigned
