Payroll Specialist
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Pay: $25 – $25.60
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
The Payroll Associate position will process weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll.
- Processing payroll, manual and electronic – start to finish.
- Completing weekly, semi- monthly, and monthly payroll.
- Enter/update – information related to hours worked, garnishments, direct deposits, and benefit balances.
- Basic pre and post-payroll auditing.
- Prepare/calculate manual check information as needed.
- Post and balance payroll items to proper accounts.
- Process Employment Verification requests
- Adding garnishments into payroll system
- Assist with quarter end, yearend, and monthly reconciliation processes as needed
- 3 – 5 years of payroll experience (not outsourced)
- Dayforce experience preferred
- Oracle PeopleSoft experience
- KRONOS Timekeeping system
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll tax laws processing
- Proficient in Excel
