Our client, a premier natural gas marketing, logistics and asset management services provider is seeking for immediate placement a Manager, Products Control.
Role Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage a regional analyst team, ensuring efficient transaction processes related to natural gas contracts and pricing.
- Oversee automated contract maintenance, deal execution, and business system management for Sales, Operations, and Gas Operations teams.
- Establish performance metrics, set departmental goals, and collaborate with other teams to refine processes and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance on transaction processes, directing team members to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and ensure seamless business operations.
- Manage the contract generation process, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and accurate documentation of base agreements, index and fixed-price transactions, and contract amendments.
- Ensure the profitable execution of financial hedges, working with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing inputs.
- Take responsibility for pricing scheme administration, using regional market knowledge to ensure accurate pricing inputs.
- Act as a technical lead for the Salesforce to Endur interface, reconciling system errors with the technology team.
- Serve as the System Reintegration Lead, coordinating with operations support, scheduling, and technology teams to cleanse contracts and address deal structure issues.
- Ensure timely account and contract data distribution, assisting Sales with contract renewals and ensuring accurate transactional information is captured for renewals.
- Monitor and maintain database integrity, including metered usage, pricing, deal structure, contracts, and invoicing.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gas industry or related business discipline.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated ability to engage multiple stakeholders, including sales, supply, scheduling, legal, and finance/risk teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to foster effective collaboration and resolve conflicts.
- In-depth knowledge of natural gas contracting processes, including legal aspects and contract types.
- Ability to balance competing business priorities while ensuring deal integrity and P&L management.
- Experience with business information systems, including contract management, pricing, and invoicing systems.
