Job Summary
Manage regional analyst team. Maintain automated natural gas contracts/transactions, deal/pricing execution and business system management for Sales Team, Operation Support, and Gas Operations. Ensure that the transaction process is efficient, operates with effective internal controls and provides services when needed to each respective department.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Plans and schedules regional team meetings to support departmental, business unit and corporate goals and objectives. Follows through to ensure successful completion.
- Establishes performance metrics and controls, collaborates with Sales Team and others to refine and gain agreement and provides leadership within organization to ensure achievement and implementation.
- Guides team on transaction processes and procedures. Directs as necessary to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Manages employee performance through establishing goals and development plans, evaluating and documenting performance, making compensation recommendations and selection decisions and providing coaching, counseling and discipline.
- Plans for both continuous and step improvements. Initiates cross-functional meetings to review opportunities/issues and implement improvements.
- Prepares and delivers oral and written communications to employees, customers, consultants and executive management.
- Represents the organization, department or company on internal teams and/or to external entities.
- Participates in and/or leads project teams involved in the system solution/report creation and development, testing and implementation of automated systems, reengineering of processes and implementation of new requirements.
- Serves as liaison to verify customer/contract process flow of new customers from startup to termination.
- Ensures generation of contract documents for Sales Team and Business; including but not limited to, base agreements, index and fixed price transactions, and minor contract amendments.
- Ensures financial hedges are executed profitably, working with applicable internal departments to ensure accurate system pricing inputs.
- Responsible for Pricing Scheme Administration including regional market knowledge for accurate pricing inputs; knowledgeable of Endur system formulas and inputs.
- Technical Lead for Salesforce to Endur interface – reconciliation of system errors in coordination with technology team.
- System Reintegration Lead – technical coordination of ops support, scheduling and technology team to systematically cleanse contracts for deal structure issues.
- Obtains or provides contract documents to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Leads and coordinates new and terminated account activity and communication between Sales Team and Gas Operations - verifying contracts are in place and systems up to date.
- Reconcile issues with contracts, operations support, and gas supply/scheduling. Acting as an overall database expert including areas such as metered usage, pricing, deal structure, contracts, and invoicing.
- Reviews and distributes account and contract data through reports to Sales Team for timely renewal of contracts, and ensures transactional information is properly captured for renewals.
- Applies knowledge of deal structure to ensure appropriate transactions are created and maintained in applicable systems.
- Participates in periodic data review to confirm system data integrity.
Education/Experience Level
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business from an accredited college or university OR a combination of education and experience providing equivalent or related knowledge. (Experience in lieu of education is in addition to the Experience requirement.)
- Minimum of 5 years of gas industry experience or other business-related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership capacity
- Must be able to engage multiple stakeholders, including the supply, scheduling, sales teams, legal, and finance/risk teams – gaining support for efficient processes and teamwork.
- Must be able to balance competing interest of P&L delivery along with system deal integrity.

Able to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, to attend meetings and/or energy industry conferences.
