Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, and mechanical design. As a Lead Installer, you will oversee installation projects for heating and air conditioning systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards from start to finish. Your expertise will guide the team in effectively executing installations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. These installations will need to be completed in a timely manner while adhering to a strong high-quality performance. Maintaining professional relationships with builders and customers is a must. Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times also a must!!
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
- Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication, and installation.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and systems.
- A benefit if you have your own tools
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor junior installers, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage project timelines and ensure installations are completed efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites, ensuring timely arrival.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Knowledge of Crain and rooftop safety
- Remove and install rooftop equipment
- installation of Garage heaters, Mini-split systems, all Wet Heat installation
- Knowlege of Start-up units and troubleshooting abilities
- Abilitiy to translate clear, concise, and respectful communication with customers at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong understanding of installation processes.
- Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication, and installation
- Proficient at 208/230 3-phase wiring
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Proficient in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other installation equipment.
- Benefit if you have your own tools
- Basic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Size and draw ductwork correctly. Startup and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units.
- Proficient in installing round and rectangular ducts for residential and commercial installations
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
- EPA License a huge plus!!!
- 16 hours of additional HVAC industry training requried annually
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.50 per hour
