Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for handling materials in our rock shop, operating heavy equipment (including a front-end loader). The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment operation, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Hours:
- Full-Time; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 7am-4pm
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment to move, load, and transport rock, gravel, and other materials
- Organize and maintain the rock yard, ensuring materials are stored properly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols
Skills:
- Experience operating a front-end loader or skid steer (Required)
- Prior experience working in a rock yard, construction, landscaping, or a similar industry is preferred
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
