Summary
As a Certified School Psychologist, you will be essential in fostering a supportive educational environment for students, particularly those with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral challenges.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive school environment and address the needs of students with disabilities.
- Engage in crisis intervention and develop safety plans to ensure student well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications
- Certified School Psychologist with relevant licensure
- Experience in school settings and working with children
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in behavioral health and individual/group counseling
- Knowledgeable in crisis intervention and patient assessment
- Familiarity with special education and working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and autism
