Project Manager – Construction (Medical Facilities)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of construction projects from preconstruction handoff to project completion. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of managing financial performance, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in ground-up construction across a range of product types, including commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, medical office, senior living, and institutional healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Financial Management:
- Oversee financial success of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with budget and profitability goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate monthly financial projections and cash flow analyses.
- Manage owner billing processes including approving invoices, collections, and subcontractor pay applications.
- Conduct timely Buyout and oversee procurement activities, ensuring materials are sourced and delivered efficiently.
- Prepare, negotiate, and resolve subcontractor change orders on a monthly basis.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with Superintendents and project teams to create, monitor, and maintain project schedules.
- Lead procurement management activities, ensuring timely material deliveries and vendor coordination.
- Develop and implement scopes of work within subcontract exhibits.
- Ensure compliance with Jobsite Safety Standards and promote a culture of safety.
- Proactively diagnose and mitigate risks, resolving issues swiftly to keep projects on track.
- Lead project closeout activities, including initial owner meetings and final delivery.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Mentor and develop direct reports to create opportunities and drive team success.
- Foster a culture of accountability and integrity by leading by example.
- Inspire and motivate team members, leveraging their strengths for project success.
- Promote collaborative problem-solving and facilitate unified solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of construction management experience with a proven track record in ground-up construction.
- Experience leading projects $20M in size is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, handle pressure, and deliver results.
- Proven success in fostering relationships with clients, owners, trade partners, and inspectors.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
