Position Summary :
The Civil Engineering internship will focus on learning via a mentor, what it is like each day to work on multiple Civil Engineering projects. The internship will provide the student with valuable information and knowledge, that coincides with material that the student is currently learning in their studies. The internship will provide the student to be able to work with the mentor on current engineering consultant projects.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform assigned duties that will provide a well-rounded learning experience within their chosen field
- Assist project managers and engineers with various project support tasks
- Prepare engineering and design documents using appropriate software
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data

The duties involved require moving materials that weigh up to ten pounds on a regular basis and up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and similar machines. At times, bending, reaching, standing, and walking may be required.
