Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a background in sales, with a proven ability to manage customer relationships and a sales team effectively. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, outgoing, willing to learn, and can analyze market strategies to make sure we stay competitive. We would like our future Sales Manager to have a strong attention to detail and a positive and supportive demeanor that is able to excite the team they are leading. The Sales Manager will need to have occasional availability for evenings and weekends during our busy season (April – October) for when a hailstorm hits within our territories.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Onboard and train new salespeople.
- Assign inbound leads.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ability to collaborate to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Utilize Acculynx to track sales performance and manage customer interactions.
- Organize door-knocking, canvassing and marketing opportunities for the Sales Team.
- Conduct in-person inspections with the sales team to assess damage and provide appropriate solutions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and team progress.
- Coordinate training opportunities and meetings for the sales team.
- Help obtain estimates, review and verify paperwork, and work with insurance adjusters to close claims as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working with heights and using ladders safely.
- Experience in sales, management, storm damage, exteriors, or similar.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Excellent customer service skills including the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience managing a sales team with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with exterior sales is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Acculynx for managing sales processes is preferred.
