In the role of assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the execution and management of elevator installation and modernization projects. The position will require a blend of organizational prowess, meticulous attention to detail, dedication to client communications, and the ability to work independently. You will collaborate closely with our Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and to the Professional Lift Solutions standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of projects from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and permits.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objects are clearly understood and executed.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential problems and risks, and uphold mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct site visits as needed to oversee work progress, quality standards, and compliance with code and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Proven experience in project coordination.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documentation and execution.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in organizational software (Microsoft Office, SalesForce, Quickbooks).
