What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Surg RN Needed In New Mexico Starting 2/17 position at Professional Nursing Service?
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in Med/Surg unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
EMR: EPIC experience preferred.
SHIFTS: 12 hour NIGHT shift position. Shift start time: 19:00 - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY ( does not apply to OR as those are provided ) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
