Summary
We are seeking an experienced customer service representative/administrative assistant/dispatcher. Your job duties will initially include answering a busy multi-line phone system, scheduling service calls, filing, and typing proposals; then you will be cross-trained to dispatch calls and other duties.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer phone calls.
- Book service calls, ensuring that all names, phone numbers, addresses, and the nature of the customers’ plumbing issues are recorded correctly.
- Immediately write up calls according to instructions.
- Dispatch calls according to instructions.
- Prepare the board for the following day.
- Type proposals, pull permits, take credit card payments, and other similar tasks.
- Support the team with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle complaints professionally and provide effective solutions.
- Basic data entry skills are required.
