Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive On-Site Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property’s appearance, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing all aspects of property management in compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring a high standard of service and maintenance.
- Enforce Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- Oversee facilities management, including maintenance requests and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry for tenant applications, leases, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote available units and enhance occupancy rates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs and Section 8 housing assistance is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and facilities management practices is required.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with CMMS software is advantageous.
- Sales experience is a plus, contributing to effective leasing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for successful tenant interactions.
