This is a dual role, heavy on the PE side with strong QE responsibilities.The Basics : Ensures the installation, fine-tuning & modifications of industrial processes by evaluating the different possible processes for improvement points, and determining the necessary investments for the project (type of equipment, automation, initial costing, etc.)Participating in the selection of partners, suppliers, raw materials, etc.Planning and conducting tests (lab, pilot or industrial). Performing certain analyses and stabilitiesEvaluating the results of these tests and directing the project accordingly,Writing / supervising the drafting and integration of operational documents and proceduresEnsuring the training of personnel (safety, hygiene, quality, and production)Supervising the first industrial production campaignsContributing to a continuous improvement approach by analyzing recurring process malfunctions and performance indicators (product quality, yields, waste), studying and proposing optimizations to increase productivity or improve working conditions, supervising the implementation of improvements, and ensuring the update of all technical documents and corresponding manufacturing recipes.Providing information and training to the concerned personnelAssisting Quality in handling Customer Complaints, Supplier Complaints, Internal Non-conformities, and Malfunctions (NOCO software)Participating in MRP analyses, related studies, and raw material approval requestsIf you are qualified and interested, please e-mail a Microsoft Word formatted resume to ian@prorecruitingint.com.
