Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze & oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and variance analyses.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Review and reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor and analyze cash flow, forecasting future cash needs.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement best practices.
- Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
