PROSOFT is seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to join our team. This system engineer will be helping us create high quality training solutions for our customers. Your daily work will involve researching, designing, and testing new workstations, servers, laptops, and miscellaneous electronic equipment in support of various C4ISR systems, to include the Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Multi-Purpose Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS).
Experience: Three (3) years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. Individual shall have experience integrating various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance support. Individual shall consider overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with the project. Experience with CSRR a plus.
Responsibilities
Identify, design, integrate, and test hardware devices and solutions for C4I systems
Develop hardware/software test plans for CSRR MRTS system
Collaborate with team members to identify system hardware requirements
Collaborate with team members to develop training tools within MRTS system
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Proven experience developing hardware solutions
Ability to identify and evaluation hardware and software solutions for C4I systems
Highly motivated, self-starter
Qualifications
BA degree in Engineering or a related subject
Technical or Design background
