We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred, but not required. We encourage enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills to apply.
Responsibilities :
This position encompasses all front office functions, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient office operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Patient relations : Greeting patients, answering phones, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Appointment management : Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments.
- Patient registration : Checking in patients, verifying demographics, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Insurance verification : Verifying patient insurance coverage.
- Medical records management : Filing, retrieving, copying, and faxing medical records.
- Financial transactions : Collecting co-pays and cash payments, processing credit card transactions, and balancing daily transactions.
- Data entry : Entering charges, payments, and other necessary information into the computer system.
- Adherence to policies : Following all Physician Services policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
- Other duties as assigned.
