- Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30pm or 8am- 4 : 30pm with a 30 minute lunch
- 17.86 per hr
General Summary : The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels by placing orders for stock and non-stock items. This role involves adhering to procurement guidelines to ensure compliance, collaborating with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders, and communicating status updates to buyers and customers. Key responsibilities include gathering essential information to input into the ERP system, such as item descriptions, vendor part numbers, vendor information, and pricing. Additionally, the specialist documents parts used by technicians on repair work orders for regulatory compliance and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting customer expectations. Active participation in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining respectful relationships with all stakeholders is essential.
