In this role, you'll be responsible for meeting the total rehabilitation needs of patients, maintaining quality care in compliance with established guidelines, and serving as a leader in our clinic. Performance Responsibilities:
● Treat patients using evidence-based practice and current standards of care.
● Supervise and monitor patients' progress through their individualized care plans and adapt them as needed to meet patients' changing needs.
● Communicate effectively with supervising physical therapist and referring physicians regarding patients' condition, progress, and care plans.
● Input charges and maintain accurate patient charting in compliance with clinic protocols.
● Coordinate patient referrals and ensure timely communication with referring providers.
● Participate in providing learning experiences for physical therapist assistant students during their clinical rotations.
Minimum Requirements:
● Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
● Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
● Commitment to ongoing professional development.
● Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities.
● Ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs and exercise judgment in clinical decision-making.
