Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including mechanical systems, electrical components, and logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
- Conduct residential painting and minor renovations as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Lead small projects or teams when necessary, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in working with electrical systems and logic controllers.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams or projects effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to mechanical and electrical systems.
- Welding skills are a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving.
