What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Profisee?
Brief Description
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Business Development is a player-coach who leads with a hands-on approach to strategy, execution, and team development. As Profisee enters an exciting new phase of growth, we’re investing in a business development leader who will elevate our inbound and outbound motions—bringing structure, creativity, and consistency to how we generate and convert pipeline.
You’ll be responsible for managing a high-performing team across both inbound and outbound functions, ensuring they have the tools, training, messaging, and motivation to deliver results. While you won’t be prospecting day to day, you’ll stay close to the action—actively coaching, jumping in on strategy, helping refine outreach, shadowing calls, and occasionally picking up the phone to demonstrate best practices.
Success in this role will be measured by pipeline generated, team performance, and your ability to create a scalable engine for growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Net New Sales, and Alliances to ensure full alignment on campaign execution, messaging, and target segments.
This is a great opportunity for a first-time leader ready to step into a high-impact role with global visibility. You’ll be surrounded by experienced leaders, supported with resources to succeed and will be empowered to experiment, build, and drive change—all while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and energy within the BDR team. If you’re passionate about coaching and mentorship, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are motivated by the opportunity to build something great — this is your moment.
Let’s find your somewhere new.
This role is hybrid – in the Alpharetta, Georgia office, two days a week.
