Profit Wise is a growing Accounting firm in Huntsville Al; We are looking for a qualified Payroll Specialist with experience with Thomson Reuters / Accounting CS Software is a must

Qualifications for the position: be a team player, ability multi-task, show initiative, prioritize work, analysis and make good decisions, shared responsibility for payroll and bookkeeping for 30 clients.

Responsibilities for this position:

• Organize and compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages in order to draft relevant reports
• Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
• Answer questions and requests related to payroll information
• Workmans Comp Audits
• Perform review and verification of source documents
• Other duties as assigned
• Facilitate company compliance according to federal and state regulations and guidelines
• Process Quarterly Reports
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
• Experience with high volume multi-state payroll
