We are looking for an experienced Account Manager for the Wisconsin / Minnesota / North Dakota region to join our Outside Sales team. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships and growing sales with prospective and existing customers that can utilize our pump, mechanical seal, fabricated assembly products and equipment repair services that we offer.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager for the Wisconsin and Minnesota Region will include, but are not limited to:
● Maintain and grow sales in assigned region
● Develop relationships with prospective and existing end-user customers
● Willingness and ability to cover large geographical sales territory by vehicle
● Experienced and comfortable delivering presentations to large groups
● Identify bid opportunities within target markets and work with inside sales team to generate quotes
● Primary person responsible for generating Request For Quotes, submitting Quotes, and closing Orders with customers
● Mediate order status requests and navigate negotiations with customers
● Support after sales service including parts sales, warranty claims, and coordinating of future equipment repair needs
● Provide value added solutions to improve reliability and performance of equipment
● Continuously work towards improving knowledge of products and various end-user industries and equipment applications
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
● 2 Years of experience working in the Pump Equipment market
● 5 Years of technical outside sales experience in industrial products
● Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, communications, or related field
● Established business relationships with industrial customers, OEM’s, and/or EPC’s
● Strong mechanical aptitude
● Strong analytical skills with proven ability to react in an effective manner
● High level of interpersonal skills
● Naturally enthusiastic, energetic, and an astute listener
● Desire to meet and exceed specified sales objectives
● Intermediate level (or better) with computer proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint programs
● Valid driver’s license with no major violations
● Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
● Expected to travel for customer visits approx. 75% of time within 100 miles of home office
● Willingness to travel to corporate headquarters in Chicagoland on quarterly basis
