Position Summary : Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, operating a forklift to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Report any unsafe working conditions
Sweep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Maintain warehouse and outside area for a more sufficient work area.
Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems.
Performs other related duties as required.
Educational and Other Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational training or job-related course work is preferred.
Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
Knowledge of machinery, equipment, parts or warehouse activities preferred.
Knowledge and skills used to help others required.
Sensitive to confidential information.
Must work independently and as a member of team.
Mental and Physical Requirements :
Able to read, speak and write English.
Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.
Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
Communication - verbal and written communication.
Climbing - able to go up and down stairs
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week dependent on workload.
Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintaining them over time.
Dependable, reliable, fulfills responsibilities.
