Positions Summary: The Accounts Receivable Processor plays an important role in executing various accounting tasks. This position is responsible for billing, reconciling inter-company balances, preparing financial documents, and supporting the monthly financial closing process. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in accounts receivable management, journal entries, and financial reporting, aiding the broader accounting team and reporting directly to the Controller.

- Bill manufacturing activities to service companies.
- Send out customer statements regularly and apply payments to maintain the manufacturing accounts receivable portion of the business.
- Prepare invoices for coding and manage credit card datasets for financial categorization.
- Collect intercompany information from accountants and prepare journal entries for month-end closing.
- Reconcile intercompany balances between companies, report discrepancies, and ensure resolution.
- Issue month-end closing reminders to respective departments and manage correspondence for the transition to new financial periods.
- Prepare journals for statistical accounts and assist in the review of assigned profit and loss accounts for errors at month end.
- Schedule and organize meetings for the Controller, take notes, and record meeting minutes as required.
- Refresh reports for the accounting team, assist in preparing audit samples, and manage uploads to the GT portal.
- Prepare reserves for product returns and other contingencies.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred by not required) or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to manufacturing and service industry accounting.
- Experience with financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a keen ability to learn new technologies as needed.
- Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions in the financial reporting process.
- Perform other account receivable duties as assigned.
