What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Tech position at ProFrac?
General Overview: Responsible for coordinating and supervising shipping department in manufacturing environment. Schedules and dispatches shipments to trucking companies. Supervises and coordinates activities with picking product and preparing per customer specification for outbound shipment. Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and manage work force to meet daily operational demands.
- Schedule inbound and outbound shipments through various carriers.
- Prepare documentation for both domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare, track and coordinate shipments with vendors for sub-contract orders.
- Ensures correct receipts of materials from customers and vendors.
- Ensures correct shipment of orders to customers.
- Communicate any issues in daily production meeting.
- Administrative duties including creating Bills of Lading and shipping labels, data entry, etc.
- Help load/unload trailers using forklift when required.
- Deliver to and report on KPI’s for the S&R department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer processing skills required including use of Microsoft Excel.
- Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred, including dispatching skills, and BOL knowledge.
- Must work independently and as a member of team.
