Job Summary
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as EMD Diesel Mechanics at Progen Industries.
About the Company
Progen Industries is a leading Florida-based company specializing in the packaging of EMD engine-driven generator sets and EPC Power Plant installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Remanufacture EMD engines, rebuild EMD engine components, and assemble new or remanufactured engines.
- Conduct load testing to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in continuous EMD engine training programs.
Requirements
- Prior experience with assembly of EMD 645 and/or 710 engines.
- Remanufacturing of EMD engine block and pan assemblies, including line boring and block machining.
- Engine timing and rebuilds.
- Experience with parts cleaning and remanufacturing processes.
- Component rebuilding of water pumps, oil pumps, cylinder heads, pistons, rods, gears, drives, etc.
- Power pack assembly (new or remanufactured).
- Field services and load testing for EMD engines.
