JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Director of Medical Lab Sciences / Education

Full-Time
All Director of Medical Lab Sciences and Education candidates will have the following job responsibilities :
- Responsible for the organization, administration, instruction, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, curriculum planning and development, directing other program faculty / staff, and general effectiveness of the MLS Education program;
- Participates in the budget preparation process for the MLS Education program
- Responsible for maintaining NAACLS accreditation of the program.
- Has regular and consistent contact with students, faculty and program personnel.
- Plans and coordinates all student learning activities including lectures, tests, and grades.
- Demonstrates understanding by following all policies and procedures established by hospital and laboratory departments.
- Assists in the teaching and training of fellow employees and students performing laboratory tasks.
- Compliance with and documentation of all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
- The MLS program director must have a faculty or clinical appointment at the sponsoring institution.
- Uses good problem-solving skills and judgment in dealing with problem situations .

All Director of Medical Lab Sciences and Education candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications :
Salary Range : $ 26 - $36.61 / hr ($54-76k). We may be able to go up to $40 / hr for a very strong candidate. (BASED ON YEARS OF EXPREIENCE)
Sign on : Case By Case (Not Guaranteed)
Relocation Assistance : Up to $7k
Salary : $26 - $37
