We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team and work at a healthcare facility in Winchester, Virginia.Position Overview: As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses for patients. This is a full-time position, with a schedule of 40 hours per week.Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, vascular, and small parts exams- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have- Position patients and equipment to obtain the best images possible- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to ensure the highest quality images- Analyze images and provide accurate measurements and calculations for physician interpretation- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and trainingQualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program- Current ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician- Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and techniques- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment- Current BLS certification- Must be authorized to work in the USABenefits: - Competitive salary- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance- 401(k) retirement plan- Paid time off and holidays- Professional development opportunities- Supportive and collaborative work environmentIf you are a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position with Progeny HR Solutions LLC.
