Role : EMC Design Engineer
Location : San Jose, CA - Onsite
Role and Responsibilities :
In this role, the EMC Design Engineer will be responsible to
- Collaborate closely with multiple Business Unit (BU) hardware design teams to design, test and qualify their products to be compliant with the EMC as well as Radio (Cellular WiFi, BlueTooth, ect.) regulatory requirements.
- Work with various cross-functional disciplines (Signal Integrity, Mechanical, Thermal, Power, etc.) during the design and verification cycles
- Understand hardware design constraints and tradeoffs and find cost-effective solutions where feasible
- Develop practical EMC design guidelines for PCB & enclosure / chassis design
- Diagnose and troubleshoot EMI issues and provide design recommendations to hardware design team
- Should be able to work independently on several projects concurrently and also be to collaborate and work in a team environment
