About the role : PMAT is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer. Candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering in the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, tools and analytics. In this role, the Lead Systems Engineer will be an integral team member supporting assured Command and Control capabilities for our DoD customer within the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in San Diego, CA under Project Overmatch. The Lead Systems Engineer will have a strong understanding of and experience in developing engineering solutions for a large-scale architecture capable of supporting C2 of unmanned systems.
Responsibilities :
- Managing the development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Oversee the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
- Integrate various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
Required Skills and Experience : Qualifications :
Education and Certification Requirements : Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline - Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience
Citizenship and Clearance requirement : Active Secret clearance required; TS SCI clearance preferred
Location : On site, San Diego, NAVWAR
Work Environment : PMAT offices as needed. Remote work is also acceptable depending on location and access to a PMAT office. In some cases, work in a government facility may be required. Travel may be required for customer engagement, team coordination, and potentially for business development.
