We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team to support the accounting & finance team in the daily financial management of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Month-end close: Complete accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal controls
- Cost Accounting: Track and analyze project cost calculations and share trends with managers
- Account Reconciliations: GL account reconciliations and related GL analysis
- Inter-company reconciliations and related cash settlements
- Continuous Improvement: Own, review and document accounting procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and accuracy, and improve month end close cycle times
- Quarter and year end close: Prepare audit schedules and help manage the flow of data to external auditors
- Support internal customers: Provide frequent, clear and timely support throughout the organization; Work closely with HR, IT and Legal departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years relevant work experience
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with MS Dynamics / Business Central
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented
- Ability to work well independently, and to drive projects to conclusion
- Experience managing and maintaining confidential information.
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the firm
